Si me lo preguntan lo que sucede sea posiblemente un ¡BATALLÓN! ¡Que tal artista! ¿Cómo va la vida? Hoy la mía con especiales ganas de compartir uno de los eventos recientes más memorables para mí en lo que va de año, al menos.
THE CALL 🎙 EL LLAMADO
It all started back in January, previously the team of Gala Grande, official organizers of Rap Draft 2024, were advertising the event on different platforms and immediately came to my ears, friends and family very enthusiastic they, knowing how much fun I have doing freestyle at parties and meetings to laugh a good time, they encouraged me to participate, and I signed up without thinking too much, I was surprised that in my town, there were people with the desire to really commit to start a cultural movement almost extinct in this city, the city of Barinas Venezuela, a place where hip-hop culture struggles to survive barely, for infinite reasons, and meeting Stalin Moreira, organizer and creator of this event gave me back an incredible energy around my favorite cultural movement.
Todo empezó por ahí en el mes de enero, ya previamente el equipo de Gala Grande, organizadores oficiales del Rap Draft 2024, estaban publicitando el evento, en diferentes plataformas y de inmediato llego a mis oídos, amigos y familiares muy entusiastas ellos, sabiendo lo mucho que me divierte hacer freestyle en fiestas y reuniones para reírnos un buen rato, me incentivaron a participar, y me apunte sin pensarlo demasiado, me sorprendió que en mi localidad, existiera gente con ganas de comprometerse realmente ahechar a andar un movimiento cultural casi extinto en esta ciudad, la ciudad de Barinas Venezuela, un lugar donde la cultura hip-hop lucha por sobrevivir a penas, por infinitas razones, y conocer a Stalin Moreira, Organizador y creador de este evento me devolvió una energía increíble al rededor de mi movimiento cultural favorito.
AUDITIONS 🎙 AUDICIONES
The Audition took place in the Dorado shopping center, a very recognizable point of the city, the event happened as follows, each Mc had to take two papers out of a box, each with a written word, and had to improvise for a minute based on those words, and then for another minute had to make free rhyme without background beat, so were presenting each one, The jury was composed by Mc Ivol T, the singer and musician producer from Caracas whose name I do not remember at the moment, and Mc Jota, as host, the local entertainer and actress Natasha Sans, until they announced those qualified with prevention to participate in the first day, so far the only one made, of course yours truly, classified without much hassle, and there if the good stuff was armed.

STANDING IN THE SQUARE 🎙 PARADO EN LA PLAZA
On March 30, 2024 at about 2: 30 pm took place the Batalla Santa (because that Saturday was celebrated Easter, a typical celebration of several Latin countries) I was arriving at the Plaza O'Leary (a place where the Barinas hip hop culture has always made life) accompanied by my partner, who was responsible for taking some of the photographs shared in this post, the event took a while to start due to technical issues, I confess here between us, that my friends Can and nabis, or Maria and Juana, as they know it in other places, had accompanied us with pleasure moments before the event, you know to reconcile a pleasant mood xD, so my experience at the event was transcendental brother.
El día 30 de marzo de 2024 a eso de las 2:30 pm se dio lugar a la Batalla Santa (debido a que ese sábado se celebraba la Semana Santa, una celebración típica de varios países latinos) estaba llegando a la plaza O´Leary (un lugar eje donde la cultura hip hop barinesa siempre ha hecho vida) acompañado por mi pareja, quien se encargó de tomar algunas de las fotografías compartidas en este post, el evento tardo un poco en arrancar por temas técnicos, a lo cual, se le sacó el provecho de interactuar y conocer a los mcs e incluso calentar con una buena ronda de free amistoso, confieso aquí entre nos, que mis amigas Can y nabis, o María y Juana, como la conocen en otros lugares, nos habíamos acompañado con gusto momentos antes del evento, ya sabes para conciliar un mood ameno xD, por lo que mi experiencia en el evento fue trascendental hermano.
IN THE MICRO 🎙 EN EL MICRO

Which led us to an exciting and close replica, I was definitely very ecstatic about it all, but I am aware that after the replica my attention went a little unfocused or at least enough for the battle to go to Desert as the winner, personally I recognize it as such and more importantly I recognize my faults and mistakes without any problem, but the battle was so good that even jurors and participants approached me to confirm how well I was doing, they even took the trouble to give me personal tips to improve my weak points and explain me some dynamics and strategies that in this type of squares, end up being very defining, in short I enjoyed it like you have no idea.
Me toco participar en la batalla número 3 de eliminatoria, después de haber visto semejante nivel de freestylers más que nervioso, tome el micro con energía excesiva y entre en mi personaje lo más que se pudo, y me toca batallar contra el Mc Desert, un clásico tipo de apariencias que engañan el chico siempre se mostró relajado, pero en cuanto subió la tensión no tardo en ponerse a la altura, se movió tanta energía por esos parlantes que fue la única batalla a la cual los oyentes gritaron efusivamente; ¡BATALLÓN, BATALLÓN, BATALLÓN! Lo que nos llevó a una réplica emocionante y reñida, definitivamente yo estaba muy extasiado con todo eso, pero soy consciente de que después de la réplica mi atención se desenfocó un poco o al menos lo suficiente como para que la batalla se la llevara Desert como ganador, personalmente lo reconozco como tal y más importante aún reconozco mis fallas y errores sin problema alguno, pero la batalla estuvo tan buena que incluso jurados y participantes se acercaron para confirmármelo bien que lo estuve haciendo, incluso se tomaron la molestia de darme tips personales para mejorar mis puntos débiles y explicarme algunas dinámicas y estrategias que en este tipo de plazas, terminan siendo muy definitorias, en fin lo disfrute como no tienes idea.

Another thing that I was very pleased to see, is that Desert ended up as the winner of the final battle, which left me with the idea of thinking that if he could win, what would prevent me from winning after having put him in such a hurry before, the closing of the event left me with a lot of desire to continue practicing and improving, I met very interesting people and I could improvise and enjoy a good time so what I left was of great value to me, also for the fact that I shared with friends who have always supported me in my different creative projects, total thanks to my compadre Angel Aquino known around these parts as @not-here, to my colleague @matcha-ramita for attending and also of course to my beloved girl @omnis.hunter who with his company in the event ended up tying my experience as definitely the most memorable of this year.
Otra cosa que me complació mucho ver, es que Desert termino como ganador de la batalla final, lo que me dejo con la idea de pensar que si él pudo ganar, que evitaría que yo ganara después de haberlo puesto en tal apuro anteriormente, el cierre del evento me dejo con muchas ganas de seguir practicando y mejorando, conocí gente muy interesante y pude improvisar y disfrutar un buen rato así que lo que me dejo fue de altísimo valor para mí, también por el hecho de que compartí con amigos que siempre me han apoyado en mis diferentes proyectos creativos, gracias totales a mi compadre Ángel Aquino conocido por estos lares como @not-here, a mi colega @matcha-ramita por asistir y también por supuesto a mi amada chica @omnis.hunter quienes con su compañía en el evento terminaron amarrar mi experiencia como en definitiva la más memorable de este año.
