2# Pasos para empezar a ser DJ // 2# Steps to start DJing

Antes de empezar a tocar botones o aprender sobre el conocimiento técnico de ello, tenemos que elegir lo mas importante, la música que nos gusta y como la vamos a organizar.

These weeks I have proposed to bring everyone an introductory course to become a Dj or to learn how to handle the equipment, as we move forward I will get into more technical sections.

Para mi gusto en el genero que mas comodo me siento es en la electrónica, en techno para ser mas concreto, ademas para empezar son ritmos sencillos de 4x4.,

For my taste, the genre in which I feel most comfortable is electronic music, techno to be more specific, besides, to start with, they are simple 4x4 rhythms.

Para mi la mejor manera de preparar una sesión, si no tenemos conocimientos de mezcla armónica, es descargar un programa como Mixed in key o similares, también existe una clasificación por nota en los programas DJ "Traktor" que es el que vamos a utilizar, es bastante precisa, pero ami me gusta utilizar algún programa externo mas preciso.

For me the best way to prepare a session, if we do not have knowledge of armonice mixing, is to download a program like Mixed in key or similar, there is also a classification by note in the DJ programs "Traktor" which is the one we are going to use, it is quite accurate, but I like to use some external program more accurate.

1.Descargar canciones: Lo ideal seria que nos las descargásemos en formato .wav, aunque para un uso casero con un convertidor de Youtube nos sirve en .mp3 128Kb

Estas son las canciones que voy a descargar yo:

1.Wehbba - Catarse
2.Enrico Sangiuliano - Symbiosis
3.Wehhba - Eclipse

Para no complicar mucho los inicios voy a cojer 3 canciones de un mismo sello.

1.Download songs: The ideal would be that we download them in .wav format, although for a home use with a youtube converter we can use .mp3 128Kb.

These are the songs that I am going to download:

1.Wehbba - Catarse
2.Enrico Sangiuliano - Symbiosis
3.Wehhba - Eclipse

In order not to complicate too much the beginnings I'm going to take 3 songs from the same label.

2.Orden en Traktor: Una vez las tenemos descargadas las vamos a importar a "Traktor" en mi caso, o el programa que hayais elegido ustedes.

Veremos que podremos clasificar las canciones por BPM o NOTA, la forma ideal de hacerlo es mirar una rueda de camelot, y ver las notas en relación.

2.Order in Traktor: Once we have them downloaded we are going to import them to "Traktor" in my case, or the program that you have chosen.

We will see that we will be able to classify the songs by BPM or NOTE, the ideal way to do it is to take a camelot wheel, and see the notes in relation.

3.Preparar secuencia: Primero vamos a empezar por preparar las canciones, podemos ver que cada una están en una tonalidad diferente. Iríamos a ver la rueda de camelot. Tenemos que "Catarse" esta en A min, "Simbiosis" A b min y "Eclipse" en A min otra vez.

El BPM lo podemos preparar a medida que avanza la sesión para añadir mas dinamismo y velocidad en el punto alto de la noche.

3.Prepare sequence: First let's start by preparing the songs, we can see that each one is in a different key. We would go to see the camelot wheel. We have "Catarse" at A min, "Simbiosis" at A b min and "Eclipse" at A min again.

The BPM we can set it up as the session progresses to add more dynamism and speed at the high point of the night.

Podéis descargar las mismas canciones si queréis o elegir otras dentro de el mismo BPM o similar, o géneros parecidos, para que podamos llevar todo el mismo nivel a medida que avanzamos en la explicación. Aunque sin problema podéis escoger el genero con el que os sintáis mas cómodos la técnicas al final es la misma.

You can download the same songs if you want or choose others within the same BPM or similar, or similar genres, so that we can bring everything to the same level as we move forward in the explanation. Although without problem you can choose the genre with which you feel more comfortable the techniques at the end is the same.
