I first heard this song about a year ago in the VIP Pub in Visoko.
I must have listened to it 1000 times since then. I never get tired of it, since most of the words are still foreign to me, and it's a great song. The way that Branimir Štulić sings the words is so cool.
I have been trying to learn this song for a year. I still don't really know the actual meaning of the song, I only know direct translations of the lines. I am 100% sure that a direct translation of this song conveys none of the actual meaning.
After I learned the words, I had to be able to say them. "Zaljubio se obljubio je" is a massive tongue twister for me. To say "jer voljela me ali ko je ona ili ko sam ja" in the space of one line was also a real challenge.
Now that I have learned the song, my version is free to be born. I just need to play it 1000 more times:D
If I get good at this song, I will try busking with it.
When I'm working in the garage and this song comes on I usually end up singing into one of my wooden figures like a microphone. It's pretty sweet:)

The song is kinda cryptic even for those who speak Croatian. 😊Poetry stuff. I would call it a short Reflective poem.
I asked my friend from Visoko for a translation, and he said that nobody knows what it means:D

Visoko je baš posebno mjesto. Neki ljudi ne vjeruju u to što tamo ima, čak se i ismijavaju. Imam poznanika koji žive oko 150km od Visokog i nikad ga nisu posjetili...
Nadam se da ćeš uskoro opet doći u Bosnu. I ovdje ima ljudi koji teško žive i koji su u finansijskim problemima, ali mislim da su jako gostoljubivi i da žele pomoći ako to mogu.
Najbolje ljudi živi u Visoko! Ja volim Bosniu i Visoko.
