Currently, the US government is attempting to sell sacred Apache land to foreign mining companies, BHP and Rio Tinto. This is ceremonial land where the Apache still hold rituals till this day.
If they mine this oasis, it will pollute our earth and waters for centuries. The rich will take all of the copper and leave the toxic waste behind. These corporations must be stopped.
