Joris is a cool guy - like many Dutch folks
Knowing in the Netherlands you need to be careful with Dutch as this does not automatically means the same (NL vs. Dutch) I learned in one of my previous jobs, not remebering the actual difference anymore - maybe @edje can help on that one. I posted about Joris already (but can not find the post anymore, it was about a project long ago where he was cooperating with another great Techno act from NL, my old brain loses track these days) - I certainly like his way to play - it catches me at least and wants me to move my old feet to the music. Will refreain from saying "minimal Techno" - not that I get a bash into my face on what minimal techno means - but I like it.

NL is a short for The Netherlands while Dutch is a person who lives in this country
its like UK for United Kingdom and British for a citizen of this country.
btw its cool that you published two articles about oldschool techno artists. one more trance/edm and another, Joris Voorn, true legend of a bit softer and beauty side of techno. its a good balance for my mad stuff. next week I will try to publish something about another UK dinosaur of wild hard acid techno - Bad Boy Pete.

Is there a difference between Dutch and NL? Both kinda refer to the same as far as I remember :) Holland and the Netherlands, that may be what you meant? Last so many decades, or even century, the Netherlands is also called Holland. However, before the Netherlands was born, two provinces in the Netherlands formed a separate 'country'. I say country in brackets because in those days we didn't really speak of countries. Back then Holland (the two provinces of the Netherlands) was owned and run by a Duke.
Anyways, so far the history of NL where the peeps mother tong is Dutch :)
Decent Friday. So much interesting music today and most importantly a lot of techno music! I'm listening to the first mix now and enjoying it. I glanced at the playlist, it's always nice to see familiar names, in particular - Paul Kalkbrenner. The film - "Berlin Calling" a long time ago just played a fatal role in my life and I directed my creativity to Techno music, trying to even a little imitate the music of Paul Kalkbrenner, his tracks really sunk into my soul, as well as remixes from Paul on Moby's tracks . Thanks for the great taste and the right music! Techno is the mathematical realization of happiness! Have a nice weekend!
