Last Carnival Sunday, on March 2nd, I played my first show with my band, ScreambreakerZ. It was our debut, and anyone who knows me knows how anxious I am. But, surprisingly, I was calm. Maybe it was the excitement of finally getting on stage – though there was no stage at all, lol – or just the feeling that, no matter what happened, that moment was already a victory.
The debut was at Carnarock, an event that, honestly, left a lot to be desired. The place wasn’t nice, everything looked kind of improvised, and the sound was far, veeeery far from ideal. The organizer didn’t help much either, and the event's structure made it clear that a lot of things could have been planned better.
But despite all that, the show was really good! The people there enjoyed it, sang along, had fun with us, and when we finished our setlist, they even asked for more songs. It was amazing to get that kind of response at our very first show, and it gave us even more motivation to keep going.
Now, a week later, we already have our next date confirmed. Today, it was announced that on March 22nd, we’ll be playing at the Mistura que dá Rock event, at Muzik, an amazing venue here in the city. Unlike the first event, this one promises to be much more organized, which makes me even more excited. Muzik is a place I really love – it has an incredible structure and always hosts well-produced events. This time, we’ll be sharing the stage – and yes, there will actually be a stage, lol – with four other bands.
I’m already looking forward to this next show! The debut was a huge learning experience, and now, with a new opportunity at a well-structured event, I’m sure it’s going to be even better!

No último domingo de Carnaval, dia 2 de março, fiz meu primeiro show com a minha banda, a ScreambreakerZ. Era a nossa estreia, e quem me conhece sabe o quanto eu sou ansiosa. Mas, por incrível que pareça, eu estava tranquila. Talvez fosse a empolgação de finalmente subir ao palco - porém não teve palco kkkkkkkk - ou a sensação de que, independente do que acontecesse, aquele momento já era uma vitória.
A estreia foi no Carnarock, um evento que, sinceramente, deixou a desejar em vários aspectos. O lugar não era bonito, parecia tudo meio improvisado, e o som estava longe, beeeeeem longe, do ideal. O organizador também não ajudou muito e a estrutura do evento deixou claro que muita coisa poderia ter sido melhor planejada.
Mas, apesar disso tudo, o show foi muito bom! As pessoas que estavam lá curtiram, cantaram junto, se divertiram com a gente e, quando terminamos o nosso setlist, ainda pediram mais músicas. Foi muito legal ver essa recepção logo no nosso primeiro show, e isso nos deu ainda mais motivação para seguir em frente.
Agora, uma semana depois, já temos nossa próxima data confirmada. Hoje foi anunciado que no dia 22 de março estaremos no evento Mistura que dá Rock, no Muzik, uma casa de shows maravilhosa aqui da cidade. Diferente do primeiro evento, esse promete ser muito mais organizado, o que me deixa ainda mais animada. O Muzik é um lugar que eu gosto muito, tem uma estrutura incrível e sempre recebe eventos bem produzidos. Dessa vez, vamos dividir o palco - e vai ter palco kkkkk - com outras quatro bandas.
Já estou ansiosa para esse próximo show! A estreia foi uma grande aprendizagem, e agora, com uma nova oportunidade em um evento bem estruturado, tenho certeza de que vai ser ainda melhor!
