Hello everyone, I hope you are well. I am happy to share in the #Music community my trumpet performance of "Blinding Lights", a song that mixes genres such as techno-pop and synthetic wave composed by Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd), Ahmad Balshe, and Jason Quenneville. This musical piece is in B Minor, with a constant, danceable rhythm, driven by a marked hi-hat and an electronic drum pulse. The lyrics talk about the longing for a lost love and the hope of rekindling the relationship. It reflects a vulnerable emotional state, remembering happy moments from the past and desperately seeking the return of the loved one. The harmony and melody are relatively simple. The different cadences create tension and release, while the main melody is memorable. I really enjoyed performing this song in a comfortable, middle register. In the morning I planned to play another song, but in the end plan B was also satisfactory.

Me siento feliz de compartir en la comunidad de #Music mi performance con la trompeta de «Blinding Lights», una canción que mezcla géneros como el tecno pop y onda sintética compuesta por Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd), Ahmad Balshe y Jason Quenneville. Esta pieza musical se encuentra en B Menor, con un ritmo bailable y constante, impulsado por un hi-hat marcado y un pulso de batería electrónico. La letra habla sobre el anhelo por un amor perdido y la esperanza de reavivar la relación. En ella se refleja un estado emocional vulnerable, recordando momentos felices del pasado y buscando desesperadamente el regreso de la persona amada. La armonía y la melodía son relativamente simples. Las diferentes cadencias generan una sensación de tensión y liberación, mientras que la melodía principal es memorable. He disfrutado mucho de interpretar esta canción en un registro cómodo e intermedio. En la mañana tenía un plan para tocar otra canción, pero al final el plan B también fue satisfactorio.
At night before going to bed I have the opportunity to reflect on the things I have done that day. I love that mental exercise because I can evaluate if I have accomplished the different tasks I have set for myself. I can also think and meditate on the things I will do for the next day. I make a list of the most important things, and the less relevant things, but that also need my attention. Sometimes I set goals, but the circumstances are not always optimal for one to carry them out. You may wake up, feeling tired, emotionally down, or perhaps not feeling inspired. It often happens that you don't feel focused, or at least physically prepared to meet the demands of your daily routine. Then it's time to take a break or do something different. It is better to make a well-done plan B than to make a mediocre plan A. So there will always be better circumstances in the future and even wiser ideas.

En la noche antes de acostarme tengo la oportunidad de reflexionar sobre las cosas que he hecho en el día. Me encanta ese ejercicio mental porque puedo evaluar si he cumplido con las diferentes tareas que me he propuesto. También puedo pensar y meditar en las cosas que haré para el próximo día. Hago una lista de las cosas más importantes, y de las cosas menos relevantes, pero que también necesitan mi atención. En ocasiones me fijo unas metas, pero no siempre las circunstancias son óptimas para uno llevarlas a cabo. Puedes levantarte, sentirte cansado, emocionalmente decaído, o tal vez no te sientas inspirado. Suele pasar que no te sientes concentrado, o al menos preparado físicamente para cumplir con las exigencias de la rutina diaria. Entonces toca tomar un descanso, o hacer algo diferente. Es mejor hacer un plan B bien hecho, que hacer un plan A mediocremente. Así que siempre habrá mejores circunstancias en el futuro e incluso ideas más sabias.
