So... Communities have launched.... and the founder (@remlaps) of the #classical-music Community (henceforth known as hive-193961 or Steem and Steempeak) started up the Classical Music Community.... oh boy this is going to get really confusing.. .
Anyway, let's just skip over the overuse and multiple uses of Community... and let us just say that I have a whole heap of templates and signatures and all of that to try and rewrite to try and get the word out about the new home of Classical-Music. I know that the larger communities have been doing this for a while... I feel like I am in for a world of pain...
... after all, I had a nice rhythm going with the templates for curation and comments and everything! So, lots of new habits to learn and old habits to rearrange!
The first thing to do is to have all the templates pointing to the right places. I guess that tags are a little less important now? or maybe they are the same... Anyway, this post will also serve as an experiment to see where it actually ends up! I feel like this is my first day on Steemit again!
One little pain point that I noticed straight off was that the Steem and Steempeak URLs for the communities are just a little bit different... which makes it a bit of a pain to quickly switch between the two (I am used to just switching just by replacing the -it of steemit with -peak from steempeak!). Ah well.. old habit number one that has to drop by the wayside.
So, my limited computer time today is going to be geared towards making all the streamlining of the @classical-radio account much smoother and up-to-date with the Community change. I hope it is done easily!
... off you go little test post... where am I actually going to see you?
