The people at Enfocarte will have explained to you how the ecosystem works. Anyway, here are my suggestions: Create original content, cite the sources of images that are not yours and interact with other users, to make yourself and your blog known, gaining followers and readers. Also, read the rules of each community before posting.
I also invite you to explore other communities you might like that are part of the OCD Communities Incubation Program. Check out all the communities, read their rules and post in the one that fits your content.
