The first tomato has set on the vine. Ananas Noir variety is also known as “Black Pineapple”. It’s a beefsteak variety plant and the fruit should grow to be 1 to 1-1/2 lbs each. I’m not sure the tiny plant will support that yet.
Also we have clusters of grape all over our vine this year. I’m pretty sure these are Concord grapes but the tag has long since eroded away. Perhaps there will be grape jelly in our future.
Looks fantastic, especially those grapes! Of course, besides just jelly, grapes could be used to produce a fine cousin to your homebrew...
