Perak Cave Temple, Malaysia

Hello friends!

Follow me as I show you an amazing place to visit if you come to Malaysia.

The visit to Perak Cave Temple, or Perak Tong Temple was a great one.

When I reached, I was greeted by its entrance.

On the right of the wall, it is a calligraphy of the Chinese character 寿 or longevity. Signed Chiang Kai-shek.

Once inside, the majestic Buddha Shakyamuni statue awaits. Worshippers can offer candle light there. It symbolises dispel of darkness. Light offering brings great karma. The Shakyamuni mantra is, Oṃ muni muni mahāmuni śākyamuni svāhā.

Walking further up, one can find the Buddha Amithaba statue.

It is said that the recitation of Namo Amituofo ensures that one can be reborn into the Buddha Amithaba pureland. This is the Chinese characters of the word Namo Amituofo 南无阿弥陀佛.

Besides the statues, there are also plenty of murals on the wall.

Of course, this is a cave and there are much to see beside the Buddhist statues and murals.

The below is the view at the top of this cave.
