Doing what you love is the only way to love what you do.

Life is multidimensional

This is why I don't compare my lifestyle to that of others. Comparison indeed is the beginning of being envious and an envious soul never gets satisfaction. So why not just sit back, think wide, and find your path to trend? You will surely do great when you walk your path.

There are a lot of times I do sit and ponder a lot about life. Sometimes I just keep repeating the lyrics of a particular song in my head till I get some sense out of it. There is a song I listened to in the car while I was traveling. I don't know the artist or the song title. But I got to pick and learn a lot from it.

The artist sang in his song

Are you having fun or you are just doing this thing to survive?
Are you taking pictures of every memory of your life?

These two lines seem to have touched me a lot. Not until I began to question my life. I looked at my present life, looked at my past, and also tried envisioning my future too.

Then I got to know the difference between just doing anything that comes one's way and doing what one loves. There is no way you keep doing what you love and you feel tired from doing it. Even though to others it might look so hard and so high to climb like a mountain. But to you, it would just look like a stone you are stepping on. And the reason behind that is the love attached to what you are doing.

Having a purpose in life.

I feel we all have a purpose for which we are created, and this purpose is something unseen and unclear to us. Only if a lion that would be made a center of attraction in a zoo knew that's its purpose in life, then it would have just walked straight in there. But not knowing that is what makes the lion adapt to the ways of the wild and feel like it found a home.

The purpose of our existence is what we should try figuring out, it might be a little hard to fathom, but we all have one. A rich man has a purpose to fulfil in the lives of the poor individuals, the same way a poor one has a purpose to fulfil in the lives of the rich man. A teacher has a purpose to fulfil in the life of their students, such that students also have their purpose to fulfil in the life of others.

When we look at life, we realize we all have our purpose. There is no way a doctor could be so professional in his field that he would have to build a house by himself, he has to seek the hands of other professionals in that aspect. And there is no way a teacher could be so knowledgeable that they get to treat or diagnose themselves. They need the hands of a doctor in their life.

Not knowing one’s purpose is what makes the journey longer. Though we are all going to know it in the end, those who enjoy the most of it are those who try to realize their purpose at an early stage and work towards it.

Living my life

I love competition so much because it gives room and allows people to be open-minded to a lot of things when you think you have it all but you get to see others have it more and do better than you are. The best form of competition is to learn from it. Once the reason you compete swayed away from that then the competition is useless.

In your journey, there are some people you dare not even try to compete with, rather look up to them. There are some you just have to make your ally and grow together. And there are some you just have to stretch your hands and raise them.

There was a point in life when I realized I had to walk my path and face whatever life has brought towards me heads on. If I should relent then I realize there might be no way out of the mess I caused upon myself. The mentality that “no one is coming to help you” keeps ringing in my head. If they should help you then it's just a grace you have received.

As humans we are bound to feel entitled to some things in life, we always want to feel the urge to get a payback in return for any little thing we put forward to others. But as for me, I am trying to fight off the entitlement mentality. Though I know some paths can't be walked alone, you still can't delay your journey just because you are waiting for someone to accompany you.

My life is my responsibility.

I have been blogging for years now and I finally got to realize that I got myself acquainted with it. I wasn't born with a pen, but I began to write and gradually it became a part of me. Though I am not perfect yet, I believe that if I can't give up then I should keep it going.

Recently I have been working on a fish farm project and it must have been a hell of a challenge to overcome, the struggles through the hurdles, the setbacks, the failures, they are all reasons for me to back down and relent. But I find it to be my way, my purpose, my vision, and I made it my mission. So I find it easy going through the love and passion I have for it.

I repeat You might find it hard to succeed in doing things you don’t love or create a passion around.

Hmm. What a beautiful read. I love the analogies you used in your post too as it makes more sense. Having a purpose is important in life. One without a purpose is living a useless life. Competition is good but when you sway away from the right reason, then competing is useless for you. We learn when we are in competition with others.

Heheh thanks for stopping by and Shari your thoughts concerning the post. Well appreciated.

You are welcome, Qudus.
