Hello friends, how is your day going?
Like many in this difficult time in history I have an anxiety disorder, knowing it helped me to answer many doubts about me, but honestly at that time it conditioned me a little bit, because my mind thought it was just to accept it and live with it, in other words I limited myself to that for a while.
I needed help and thanks to her I learned to deal in a better way with my anxiety, trying to find out where it came from and what my body and mind wanted to tell me with it. Of course, there were still many days when my anxiety was such that everything my mind fabricated became real, I felt it on my skin.
In those moments I used several techniques that I was taught in therapy, but I will tell you about a specific one that for me is super effective. The human mind is a marvel, so complex and as I jokingly tell my husband "with a life of its own", because sometimes we cannot control it.
My mind has always been fascinated by nature, observing the beauty of a green area full of trees, flowers or something similar is enough for me, now imagine what it causes in me to see a beautiful landscape full of all these things together at the same time, I feel at peace at its highest level. I learned that nature is for me a medicine to calm the mind.
But I had a problem, I currently live in a quite inhabited area where I am not surrounded by nature, but by cement and asphalt almost everywhere I look, that affected me a lot. But when you want to, you can get solutions, so that's what I did. Even if they are not close, there are always places where even a couple of trees smile at me.
Mentally I have a small list and when my mind plays against me, or stress overtakes me, then I visit the place on my list that at that moment I have the possibility to visit. Sometimes, everything happens too fast and it's too much so, I just go out to the backyard of my house which is tiny, but where I can stay dezcalsa to feel the grass on my feet, while I look at the sky, no matter if it's cloudy or blue.
I have learned not to feel bad all the time just because I have anxiety, but to know myself, to know what destabilizes my mind, and also what it likes and needs to feel a little better. And although there are many things that can be done, for me, not all of them have the same effect.
It is very crazy because many may believe that solving something as uncomfortable and difficult as this, requires complex solutions and complicated methods, but how nice that even the mind "with its own life" teaches us that the solution is to free ourselves from what is too complex and stay with the natural, the usual, the contact with what is like us.

Waao! the butterflies are so beautiful doing the path!! 💚
Yes and the photos don't do it justice, seeing it in person was amazing.
Indeed I have also come to the realization that the solutions to our life challenges don't require anything complex. In fact, interestingly, the simplest things are often the hardest habit to cultivate and imbibe.
Well, now that you mention it, it is true, it costs a lot to have good habits that would solve a lot of things. Habits that honestly should be natural for us.
Yeah you sure are absolutely correct because really, habit ought to be natural for us especially the good ones.
Thank you so much for your great work and the support you give us 🤗.
I completely agree with you, really nature is the best medicine to calm the mind which as you mention sometimes has a life of its own 🙄 it's amazing how much evil the mind can do to us when we don't control it.
You know...? The best of all is that nature therapy is free 😃
I loved the pictures and your wonderful post 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Amigaaa, wow yes, sometimes we get discouraged because of lack of money and other things that we don't notice that many of the things that make us better are free.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving me this beautiful and encouraging comment. 🤗

Thanks for the good wishes, I too wish you a great day filled with only positive things. 😊
The mind is indeed powerful, and it's great when we realise that we are the only ones who have control over it and train our minds to be what we want it to be.
Having a 'happy place' to go to is awesome.
Btw, what are those things in the ground in your 3rd and 4th photos, that look like butterflies?
"happy place" describes it very well 😄. It takes time but when you learn it your mindset changes.
Yes they are butterflies, they were there perched on the wet ground, just being beautiful. I really don't know what they were doing there, but they made my day.
Thank you for taking the time to read me. 💓
WoW! That's truly amazing. I'm pleased you captured those photos and the one with you is awesome:)
