I think of courage as scattered building blocks. In part. That's the ownership thing - you use parts of things you've destroyed or situations you were successful in and use those to propel you, to build a resource arsenal for future confrontations.

I used to believe that courage meant constantly challenging yourself and facing any fear. Then I recognised how important it was to understand my fear and where it originated. As a result, I learnt that embracing my vulnerability has its own strength, which has helped me improve my bounce-back capacity and true resilience:)))
