Overcoming Challenges

in The MINIMALIST7 months ago (edited)

Minimalism is a choice, not everyone is comfortable with it nor is gonna go with minimalism. Only a certain type of person likes a minimalist lifestyle and among them, a portion can really achieve it because the idea of minimalism may refer to simplicity but the whole thing to achieve and maintain is not so simple. It should come spontaneously , we cannot just pretend to embrace minimalism as that isn't our heart so the true minimalism won't be there.

When you choose minimalism you need to cut off lots of unnecessary things that have very little to no value to your life. Maybe something that might ease your life occasionally but you have chosen to ditch that as that would sit idle most of the time just like unnecessary items without which you can easily manage your way.

So there were days when I would find myself in a dilemma for not having that one particular thing within my reach, what to do then? Look for other ways for sure, right? Yeah, those are the challenges that I faced and overcame somehow.

"ᵂᵒʳᵈˢ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵖⁱᶜˢ ᵃʳᵉ ᵐⁱⁿᵉ, ᵘⁿˡᵉˢˢ ᴵ ˢʰᵒᵘᵗᵒᵘᵗ ʷʰᵉʳᵉ ᵗʰᵉʸ ᶜᵃᵐᵉ ᶠʳᵒᵐ!"

Lemme give you a very good example of such. Every boy is fond of bikes, cars, and stuff like these. Just a couple of years ago, I had the craving for having a bike as well. A few of my friends got bikes and seeing them riding my temptation went high as well. Then I asked myself, if I really need a bike, what will be the purpose it will be serving for me? I got my answers, it will be of no use other than just riding with friends here and there idling away my time and energy. Oh yeah, I had no offices, or anywhere productive that could save me time and money back then. I had chosen to not overspend on something that had no use case. But there were some times when I had realized that a bike coil;d help me now, like an occasional work in a distant place where I had to travel with lots of difficulties, then I would console myself with the logical explanations.

So the main thing is that when you choose something, it will have some side effects as well, now it's up to you how you would convince why you have chosen that path instead of the other that you have stumbled on right now. That's what I do, I tell myself the reason for choosing this path, why it's better, and why I need to face and overcome this struggle without regretting it, once I am done with this, I feel joy and happiness for having this and the problem doesn't bother me anymore.

So yeah, have solid reasons to throw on your problems and overcome them with a smile, that's what I do and think of the best way. Try it on yourself and lemme know your thoughts and ways as well, I would love to read them.

Have a great day,
Take Care.

I feel living a minimalist life is usually good at times. I’ve been practicing this lifestyle for over a year now and it has really helped me to save up a lot of money
A minimalist life is really good

Sometimes I remember the old me and how much I used to shop. There was a time when I constantly received cargo messages. The last few years have proven that it is possible to live without frequent shopping. I love this life. I think I think 100 times before buying something.
