Hey minimalist crew! This week I saw that the #kiss prompt was about space saving storage hacks, and though I'm good at Tetris-ing a closet or cupboard, I wasn't sure what to write about until I saw @bluepark's post about her storage under the couch and ottomans.
I don't have storage ottomans (or a couch, lol), but I do have a bowl chair/papasan:
How can I possibly store things there? Well, the bowl part rests on top of a stand that is just a wicker cylinder, basically. That's a big empty space under there, so that's where I store mailing boxes and pouches, for when I want to ship something to friends or I sell something on eBay:
It's not exactly hidden, but you also wouldn't notice them under there with my blankets and pillows in the bowl part on top. And I've got quite a lot under there, probably more than I need if I'm honest, but I like to keep a variety of sizes so that I can choose the smallest box for what I'm shipping to save money.
Bubble wrap is stored inside the boxes, so I have that, too. And selling on eBay is one way that I declutter! :)
So there's my little hiding storage space. I definitely use under the bed space to stash things away, too, but I think a lot of people do that. ;)

It is very appropriate this kind of chairs that fulfill several functions since at the end you have more space available to feel the house lighter. I need a sofa like that 😁.

When I was a little kid and my mother told me to clean my room, I used to try and hide it all under the bed. She got wise to that and would look. So then I started putting boxes in front. She got wise that that and started moving a box. So then I put two boxes. LOL
