Yes! It makes me think of post WW2 great uncle who was a POW in Russia. He used to hoard food - excessively. He never wanted to starve again. Even when he got dementia he was always trying to break into the kitchen. It's a similar response.

When people have abundance sometimes they realize that they have too much and that doesn't make them happy.
