Slowly to the top

Greetings!

Going by how the world is moving very fast with people competing against each other to make success, it's better to take things slowly just to move ahead without making a life time error. You know, this world is growing so fast that's demanding you to also take a fast or quick decision to solving problems. Such problems may be, family problems, social, emotional just talk of any problems or better still issues that always needs a quick attention in this current world. But in the face of all this, I have decided to take things slowly just to move forward.
Going by what is obtainable in the fast growing world of today, many people are in a hurry to meet the pace of the growing in all spheres thereby, taking rash decisions that will yet add and pile up their woes. Atimes, taking a very quick decision brings about setbacks which if not careful can destabilize ones plans.

Though, I have also tried to meet up with the demanding fast world before, but when I realized it's not working for me, I decided to take things slowly without giving myself unnecessary pressure. So, I took some drastic measures just to get myself right and set myself self on the right path or track. But this I have done taking things slowly just to move forward. There were times that friends and family were pressurizing to get married, but I took it with calm and when the time to get married came, I did it without making mistake. So, I got it right. To get things right in this world that's moving fast, you must take things steady.

In this challenging fast world, I have decided not to compete with anybody being it friend or family. Though seeing people doing great and trying to catch up with them, can make one take a wrong decision that may not be reversed again, but not that it's not that what they are doing is bad, but I have decided to take thing slow and strategizing just to do things the right way. I could remember when a friend of mine built his house and I was like I would double my hustle as fast as possible to build mine too, but later, I realized it's not by might nor by power. So, after then, I took things slowly. That's life.

Also, another way i have decided to take things slowly just to move forward in this world that will not wait for anyone is to carry out personal retreat about my life, where I have been coming from, where I am and where I am going. Though a friend of mine introduced me to this word called retreat but ever since I have been looking at where I have been coming from and my current situation, I have been taking things slowly, accessing what has been working for me and what has not been working for me. For instance, I have this kind of a business strategy working for me at a particular time, but a friend came to me to introduce me to another strategy which later did not work for me, but worked for him. So, through the personal retreat I realized where I have missed it, traced my steps back and take things slowly to rise again in this ever fast moving world.

Another thing that has really helped me to taking things slowly in this ever fast moving forward world is being calm, seriously when things are stormy and requires a quick or fast decision, I used to calm myself down, looking for a way out. Like an adage in my local language which says, " we don't rush to lick hot soup, if we rush to lick hot soup, the tongue will tear." So, for this not to happen to me, I used to take things steady. When I left the university in those days, everything was stormy but I needed to take a quick decision which I did by venturing into a business I knew nothing about, but the business later wreck me and set me back. This later caused me till today. But thank God. Had it been I have taken things steady and slowly, it would not have been like that and I would have move forward. Though I was advised to wait till after my service year before venturing into any business but the rising cost of demand pushed me to doing it and it really affected me.

So, taking things slowly in this ever fast moving world is neccessary and this is because it helps to see things clearly and helps to avoid a lifetime mistake. So, taking a step at a time is not a sin but a pathway to a greater future.
