Recently a post in the MCGI Cares Hive community caught my attention and I could not stop responding it because often I ask the same to myself : What is the purpose of human life? And the reason ? It helps to reduce non physical clutters from our life, which often gets piled up because of the modern mess in which we live. And it's even hard to realize, unless you pay close attention and look within or someone very near lets you know. Some even don't understand what are these non-physical clutter in life, even though living with them - it could be emotional stress or mental baggage, or a guilt or unspoken feelings and even digital overload - a constant stream of "what-ifs" clogging our headspace, affecting our mental peace. It's not simple to clear these clutters like physical junk and that is when we need to remind ourselves about the purpose of life :
Human life is a journey understanding our true nature as divine, balancing worldly responsibilities with the pursuit of spiritual freedom, having four key aims :
- Righteousness/Duty - living a life of moral order
- Prosperity/Material Success - pursuit of wealth and other resources in an ethical manner
- Pleasure/Desire - encompass the enjoyment of life’s pleasures within the boundaries of Righteousness.
- Liberation - Liberation of the soul with the the universal consciousness.
Thoughts on the last one probably comes very late in our life, a very few who become monk from an early age would get that. But for people like us, living a moral or ethical life within the boundaries of Righteousness will mostly take care of peaceful living and crossing that boundary means, you land in the hell.
