Happy 2025, everyone!
As we step into this new year, I want to take a moment to wish each and every one of you a wonderful new year. This is going to be our best and most fruitful year yet!
Well, it's a new year, and I know we've all made our resolutions and plans for the new year. We're setting ourselves up for success! We've drawn out our goals, things we want to achieve, and we're putting structures in place to meet these goals.
But here's the thing: there is more. More to come, more to achieve, more to celebrate. Look beyond your current state and look ahead. Look across the horizon. Even the Bible says, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place you are now, and as far as your eyes can see, I will give to you”.
There is more land to adventure into. There is more love to give. There are more relationships to build. There are more depths in your relationships. There is more of God to know. There are more heights in your academics and career.
Don't settle, my friends! I promise you, there is more. It might not look like it now, but trust me, there is more. Let's learn how to broaden our scopes and see more than we already see. Enlarge your mind's eye and look across and beyond.
That thing you have resolved to do? There is more. That's my message for us this year.
This public service announcement is not from me; I am only a messenger. You don't have to box yourself into one place. There is more. A lot more.
And while we are looking at our "more," we must develop the courage and audacity to step into it. As much as you see the vision in your mind's eye, you need the audacity to touch that vision.
