I had wanted to do two things for a long time: One was to use cyan in natural settings and the other was to convince Ingrid to pose for me. We agreed to meet during the monthly meeting with other colleagues from our club in a very central botanical garden in Havana, called Quinta de los Molinos. It is a natural environment with well-kept vegetation and many plants of various species. When we finally met, we went out to walk the beautiful place and then we saw at the end of the road a beautiful bougainvillea full of white flowers. Just what I needed to play with my model's beautiful pale hair color.
At home when I was editing this session, I had the idea of using the technique of playing with the RGB channels of my photo to turn everything green into beautiful cyan tones, which makes the atmosphere around my model become idyllic and whimsical. I Hope you like how it turned out!
Hacía tiempo que quería hacer dos cosas: Una era usar el tono cian en entornos naturales y la otra era hacerle una sesión de fotos a Ingrid. Acordamos vernos durante el encuentro mensual con otros colegas de nuestro club en un jardín botánico muy céntrico en La Habana, llamado Quinta de los Molinos. Es un entorno natural con una vegetación bien cuidada y muchas plantas de diversas especies. Cuando por fin nos encontramos, salimos a caminar el hermoso lugar y entonces vimos al final del camino una hermosa bouganvilia llena de flores blancas. Justo lo que necesitaba para que jugara con el hermoso y pálido color del cabello de mi modelo.
Ya en casa cuando estaba editando esta sesión, se me ocurrió usar la técnica de jugar con los canales RGB de mi foto para lograr convertir todo lo verde en hermosos tonos cianes, que hace que la atmósfera que rodea a mi modelo se torne idílica y fantasiosa. Espero que les guste!

Hola, vi estas fotos en tu perfil de Facebook primero, y a mi mente llegó la pelí de Disney Frozen. La modelo no se parece a Elsa, pero la composición de la foto, y el efecto "tonos cianes" me sumergió totalmente en un espacio invernal. Luego al ver los colores originales (Me encanta el ambiente de la Quinta de los Molinos) me quedo con los de fantasías, que es mí la realidad, los verdes pueden ser la fantasía de otros. Grandes instantáneas muchas felicidades

This is really beautiful! I love that cyan color swap. Great idea and i think this will possibly open up a whole new dimension. Thanks for showing the before and after so we get the full effect. The contrast between the cyan and her hair is incredible. Great shots!
