I used to frequent the water on a boat quite often a couple of years ago when I was employed in the industry. Now, I don't partake in such experiences as frequently anymore.
In fact, I hardly feel like doing it at all because I'm already familiar with this area. I'd rather explore uncharted waters, but for now, there's "nothing in sight" in that regard.
A couple of days ago, while dining with a few friends at a restaurant, the owner - who happens to be friends with us all - invited us for a spin on one of his quite speedy boats docked near his terrace.
I was familiar with the boat; it's pretty fast for what we have here, and I liked it. Although I knew the girls joining us might get scared if he took the turns too roughly, I also knew that he would do just that...
The youngest one started crying, and we had to stop. The engine stopped too, leaving us stranded in the middle of the lake with a four-year-old girl sobbing due to the rough turns the boat driver had taken us on.
Fortunately, it was only an electrical failure that got fixed relatively quickly, allowing us to get back to the deck without delay. I seized the opportunity and snapped a few pics while there. I have a fondness for sunsets and try to make the most of every chance to photograph them.
Here are the results... I hope you enjoy them!
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
I think 'Castaway' is the maritime term for being stranded adrift at sea. Your friend's boat is not equipped with a Marine radio? I used to work in the fishing industry.
Will change the title. Thanks 😉
I am scaried of the DEEEP. How about u? btw good shots!
I can’t even swim 😁
I've missed out of reading your post these days. In any case, it was your active attitude here that encourage me to equally make effort to be more active in contents creation. 😊 You have been an hidden encouragement to me here.
