While my travels recently weren't for pleasure, I received @hiddenblade's camera to bring with me just in case I'd have some time to take some shots. I did have a day or two to go out and drive around a bit and take some pics of the town I visited and have now somewhat caught up to things to have some extra time to post and share them with you. :D (it's only been a few months guys)
Anyway, I'm not great at photography and these images are unedited but hopefully the camera's impressive specs will carry them throughout this post. One thing to note is that I had a zoom lense with me as the only lense, so at times if you wonder why some of the pics are too zoomed in and how it would've maybe been nice to get a shot of the place without the zoom, tell me about it!
We're starting off with some images of the archipelago of Finland in the very early spring mornings and a few shots here and there as the sun rises.
Then we move into the day time of the same spot.
Not much text to include here, so apologize if it was kind of a photo spam but don't think there's much perspective I could've added to these images as they're not that special or meaningful. Just some shots during a day when I had to wake up early and was able to go to the same spot a few times during the morning and then later during the day.

I like to see experimentations! I usually do the same when taking my shots just to cover the spread. But it was cool to see your process... so thanks for sharing the shots you didn't think should make it but did anyhow. It shows the full range of giving it your best. That lighting at the beginning was super dramatic and very well captured.

Very nice shots. The first ones remind me of the Zach Bryan song "Something in the Orange". My wife and I recently took a trip to Colorado and I took my small but powerful Sony camera from work so my wife could take photos while I was driving. At one point she said "I can't believe I am using a real camera" and promptly switched over to her Samsung phone and used that for the rest of the trip!
The sunrise was absolutely incredible. It's so peaceful compared to the daytime. Both are such beautiful parts of nature.
Awesome photos. The extreme difference in colors is really interesting. I don't think anyone can go wrong with sunset photos. It always seem to have a way of painting everything beautifully. Even regular electricity poles suddenly become artistic.
Evening sky in the northern countries is just something else, absolutely wonderful!

The daytime pics give such a different vibe it's quite amazing. Also, they remind me of the PNW here in the US, similar latitude?
