Capturing a picture-perfect proposal

Photographing moments of love and connection is a true privilege and capturing a surprise proposal is an experience like no other. I had the honour of photographing a good friends surprise proposal recently and the day was filled with a wide variety of emotions, anticipation and nerves were rushing through my veins the entire time, the last thing I wanted to do was ruin the surprise with her seeing me before he dropped to his knee with the ring.

After the proposal, the newly engaged couple enjoyed a sweet picnic for two. The mini teepee and blanket covered grass set the stage for a lovely romantic moment as the couple enjoyed champagne to celebrate this grand milestone together.

Photographing these moments was a true honour as well as a bit of a thrill. As a photographer, being a part of such significant moments and capturing the pure joy and essence of their love is so rewarding.

I love being able to freeze these special moments in time for people to look back over for year to come and feel the feelings all over again.

I cannot wait to capture many more special moments of love!
