Capturing Belgrade's Unique Characters | Street Photography

Forgive me, photography lovers, for I failed you again with my absence and inability to stick to the regular schedule. I've been busy with other projects and I have hard time juggling multiple things at once. I mean, I have passion for a wide variety of interests but that pulls me away from posting (ideally) daily. But you live and you learn. And also, I'm trying not to go against my personal design and do things in a way everyone else is doing just for the sake of it (anyone familiar with Human Design may understand what I mean :D ).

Still, a bit of focus and dedication might not be a bad thing and I was always rewarded in the past when I stayed on the road of discipline. It's especially visible in my photography - the more frequently I do it, the more amazing results come up, and when I'm doing it sparingly I have hard time finding interesting things to photograph. Big ideas come with effort, and with it also a little bit of necessary luck.

Here I share a collection of photos I took in the last few days on the streets of Belgrade. The drawback of days being long is that I can't wake up early enough to catch the morning light (before 5am) - a lot of these shots are taken throughout the day which is not an optimal condition but that's how my schedule was. Further on, I'll try to wait for that pretty golden hour before the sunset.

Belgrade is full of interesting characters from all around the world. Usually when I'm still not in the creative flow I tend to focus on people, which is fine given the aforementioned take. Elegant women with their fancy clothes, street performers, workers in the shops and bars, or travelers - each have something unique worth capturing. I hope you enjoy this series!
