Hello again, photography lovers! I'm excited to share a new set of photos captured over the past few days. Just a week into regular practice, I'm already feeling more at ease with creating meaningful compositions.
Summer is here, bringing temperatures above 30°C, so people either stay inside or seek shaded areas to escape the sun's direct impact. The main pedestrian street, Knez Mihailova, is perfectly oriented so that, after the morning light passes, the buildings block it for the rest of the day, allowing people to traverse it unbothered.
Small breakthroughs of light between buildings reveal areas hidden in shadows, creating interesting opportunities for street photos.
This weekend was the annual Book Night, so bookstores were crowded with readers eager to take advantage of the discounts. As an avid reader and photographer, I love capturing the windows of bookstores and people engrossed in books. Street performers, a common sight in Belgrade, also provide rich material for a photographer's lens. While not all are equally talented, their presence adds vibrant life to the streets.
And of course, the dogs—diving into fountains for refreshment, playing excitedly with other dogs, or loyally following their owners—were among my favorite subjects this time around.
I hope you enjoy this collection of photos, taken with my Fuji X-Pro2 and 35mm F/2 lens.
