Hey, everyone! I have another set of photos made this week that I want to show you. They are from two separate outings, one on a gloomy afternoon and the other during yesterday's sunny morning. We've had really hot days lately, on the concrete of city streets it's very hard to breathe normally or not sweat like crazy.
I came to the conclusion that I definitely prefer cloudy days for street photography, not just for the sake of feeling better, but for the aesthetic reason as well. I love when my photos have that uniformed look from the dimmed light as opposed to the contrasty, saturated yellow look from the bright sunlight. Of course, not all cloudy days are the same - it's important the sky is not overcast, just white and bright which gets blown out when photographing low lit street scenes.
Kalemegdan fortress is the perfect spot when the sun is hiding. The stone walls and greenery give a sweet ambience to the place, it's perfect for chilling as can you see from the photos many visitors do.
The last photo is made from the rooftop of my house, we often get to witness these red sunsets in the area and they are usually spectacular. I love how the roofs of the houses sit in that red, peaceful atmosphere. Photos taken with Fuji X-Pro2 + 35mm F/2 lens. Until next time!

It's often on my way and I climb down to the tunnel only if I see someone roaming around 😂
