Welcome back, folks! I have another round of street photos taken in the last few days. Currently, Belgrade is buzzing with people. Maybe my memory is not serving me well but I remembered summer months being less crowded than usual. It's the time of vacations so people generally leave the town and settle near the sea somewhere in Greece, Montenegro, Turkey...
I don't know what changed this year, perhaps the financial situation among the people dictates that we take the most out of what we have here. Not having the sea in my country is the biggest disappointment honestly and why I'm dreaming of leaving (we used to have it before the country divided). Heat wave brings the temperatures in high 30s so middle part of the day is pretty much reserved for staying indoors.
Well, as I've got to the city after 6pm the crowd of people swarmed the main pedestrian street and they headed towards Kalemegdan. A lot of them are tourists, well behaved and in good mood. But the majority are young teenagers, they seem to thrive in their newfound, almost-adult, freedom. Loud, playful, happy - they gather on the fortress walls and watch the sunset in good company.
I had a fun time walking around while listening to some audiobook and capturing the vibe of the streets. Light is also nice and allows for easy, straightforward editing. Photos are taken with Fuji X-Pro2 and 35mm F/2 lens.
Nicely taken photos of people, the teenagers happiness is always big on their life development, so creative 🥰🙏
