I'm happy to be back here and write to you again, photography lovers! I'm slowly waking up from the winter hibernation, a long and draining months of cold and staying at home. Such is a time that I don't feel like going out and doing anything outside of work and so I haven't really been on many photo walks lately.
Except on days when the snow is falling which happened on two instances and is captured in the photos below. It's such a rare occasion in recent years, to actually witness the snow falling, that I don't want to miss it. Back in the old days, I feel like the magical ambience of falling snow has greeted us much more frequently.
On the streets, people moved cautiously, umbrellas in hand that don't help much, but are creating vivid bursts of color against the monochrome background of the city. Kalemegdan Park stood silently still, its kingdom frozen in ice together with the footprints of occasional wanderers.
It's fun trying to capture interesting moments like a child carrying a huge ball of snow or delivery men with their big boxes, a lady in sneakers trying to fend off the cold or the one taking her pack of dogs for a walk. These moments remind me why I love street photography. Hope you enjoyed the captures. Taken with Fuji X-Pro2 + 35mm F/2 lens.
Good selection. I went back to see what kind of lens was used. So, you got close to all those scenes, well done!

Yes, I like to use shorter lenses for my street photography, either 35 or 50mm equivalent. Glad you liked the results!
Really like that textural feeling of the second one. It has a little bit of a Vogue look to it.
Wowwww, great Winter Shots
