I first saw a photo filled with snow and several people wearing all black clothes, plus a table with several pieces of bread and three bottles of brandy. After reading further, I understood that these were people attending funerals and the tradition of sharing bread with a glass of brandy was quite interesting. Where I live almost also has a similar tradition of a piece of "apam" cake and sometimes a glass of tea or coffee. But as for snow, it's impossible to find in my country :)

I think you find a similar tradition in most of the countries, to commemorate the departed. maybe they serve different food, but the idea is the same. Well, snow is a privilege :)
