Never underestimate the mountains

in Photography Lovers2 months ago

The Ukrainian Carpathians are incredible in any weather or season. We decided to spend the last day of summer on new, unexplored peaks. It wasn’t my highest mountain—1235 meters. I thought it would be no problem, considering I had recently climbed several peaks over 2000 meters. But I was very, very mistaken. This was one of the hardest peaks. The total route was 4 km, but the last kilometer and a half involved an elevation gain of 550 meters. That is a very, very steep and intense climb, which was tough for me, and I know what I’m talking about. But the views were worth the effort.
