The following is a traditional Indonesian food called LEMANG which is made from sticky rice. What is unique is the way of cooking it, namely using banana leaves and bamboo. Banana leaves are put into bamboo so that the rice doesn't stick to the bamboo when cooking, and the way to cook it is by roasting the bamboo over hot coals.
And when cooked, the bamboo is split and LEMANG is ready to be served
Haven't seen this way of cooking rice. Interesting method, thanks for sharing!
For me the question is how did the method evolve over time? However, have a wonderful weekend!

This method continues to be maintained from generation to generation so that this traditional food does not become extinct 🙂🙂
