Mural Arts in Kadıköy, Istanbul (II)

in Photography Lovers8 months ago (edited)

Greetings to everyone passionate about photography and art.

20 days ago, in my post about the mural art in my neighborhood, I said that Kadıköy, Istanbul was a mural paradise and I decided to divide the article into two parts because there were so many murals (https://ecency.com/hive-194913/@altor/mural-arts-in-kadikoey-istanbul)

Let's continue where we left off:

Spanish artist Treze painted this realistic-looking mural in 2017. I especially like the color transition on the dogs' faces and this lovely mural has been beautifying my parallel lower street for seven years. If you want to know more about the artist, his IG address is:

In 2020, Pilpeled, an Israeli artist, created this artwork. Pilpeled's mural is well-known worldwide because to its distinctive style and characters that are primarily black and white. For more information:

Franco Fasoli's One Against One is one of my favorites. Since it has been there for 11 years, the fading of the colors is obvious. I remember when it was first made the background color was red not pink :) If you want to take a look at other works of the Argentine artist:

This strange and impressive mural by Chilean artist Inti is located on Macit Erbudak Street. It was painted in 2013 and has been there for 11 years. Depending on the time, there is a decrease in the paint and color saturation. The artist's white geometric shapes and writings behind the character can still be read. IG address of the artist:

Ukrainian artist Alex Maksiov's murals have been on Talimhane street since 2017. Almost every day, I see this large bird—I'm not sure if it's a duck or a seagull—in this bizarre geometric mural :)

And our last mural is by French artist Amose. In this work, which is more minimalist than the other murals, we see two surrealist figures with strange geometry. Amose painted this mural in 2012. For other works of the artist:

This is how I introduced the murals in my neighborhood to you. See you in other posts. Stay with art.

All the best. 🍀

I shot all the photos with the Sony A7SIII camera, using the Samyang 24mm lens. I edited them with Adobe Lightroom and added the exposure values below the photos.
