Hello hivers, in my last edition of Christmas decoration and creativity 3, I promised to bring masquerade carnival. In fulfilment of that promise, a rich cultural masquerade heritage from a region within my locality was showcased as exciting side attraction during Christmas celebration. The occasion was indeed fantastic, exciting and full of fun. Hivers, sit back and entertain your eyes as you take a look at these pictures one after the other and then finally watch a short video clip at the end. All the pictures are original, and are mine, neither sourced nor imported from any site.
Hivers, I must not fail to highlight that, each masquerade has its own unique cultural values, each of the masquerade belongs to a particular cultural age group as showcased during this extravaganza carnival. The extravaganza rich cultural masquerade carnival during this Christmas has no spiritual connotation/undertones. Unlike this Christmas masquerade carnivals, in other climes there are other rich cultural masquerades that have spiritual connotations. Culturally or traditionally, such Masquerades are only showcased either during cultural festival or on a very special traditional events the is required based on the traditional religious and ancestral belief not such as Christmas celebrations or other mixed social events. In such trad-cultural festivals, most of the masquerades are restricted from women and children accessibility because of it traditional, spiritual undertones according to the traditional and ancestral religious belief. In this Christmas extravaganza, both children, women , young and adults alike have free access to the masquerades as can be seen in some of pics.
Thanks hivers for your time taken to watch this rich cultural heritage .
Bright and unusual characters really. A beautiful holiday!
