Hello Everyone, am back with an interesting and stunning #flower that looks distinctively different and not like any usual looking flower with wide soft petals with finite or infinite numbers of petals.
These are absolutely distinct and totally so unique in its shape, size and structure.
I was totally amazed to see them at first glance. Got truly curious and went near, sat there for a while and got to understand this unique flower.
My first question was…Does it really look like a typical flower or something very strange or alien.
It does look strange because of its shape. I kept on gazing it for quite some time! Really…I mean it!
Then something strange happened! The flower asked me…"Hello! How are you!?"
I was jaw struck! Ohh…is that really the flower, asking me this!?
Then after a long pause, I answered! Hello! I am fine, How are you!?
The flower said, I am watching you for a while and you have been very curiously watching me, for a while now!
Do you want to know anything or ask me a question.
I said: I am curious about you and want to know all about you! So, will you please!
Ofcourse said the flower!!!
Hello Dear Friend, my name is Calceolaria flower
I am also known as:
Lady's purse
Slipper flower
Pocketbook flower
Slipperwort
Pouch flower
Poor Man's Orchid.
People address me with all these different names, still I am the same Calceolaria flower
Beautifully enough, my #flowers are usually yellow, orange, red, or even purple with amazingly interesting contrasting spots. I am more native to Mexico & South America yet bloom and blossom at various places, world over.
I am beautifully considered to be a delightful early-season flower with absolutely unique orchid-like flowers.. I am known for my shape. Rather my distinct shape is my key attraction to the mankind. Mother #Nature crafted me in this way, truly exclusive and distinctive.
I am a One inch bloom mostly in yellow, deep dark yellow spotted with orangy brown, red, even in rose pink colours with a typically “swollen lower lip” resembling a pocketbook.
Do you know that my intricate speckles or so called spots are truly captivating? They look so beautiful on me, enhancing my sheer beauty.
My Ideal Growing Conditions are that I greatly thrive in cool & shaded environments, making me really appropriate for indoor settings or even shaded garden beds.
Moreover, I am popular as an annual or even shortlived perennial plant, & greatly prized for my stunning Ornamental Appeal.
Besides, my fabulous flowers bloom and blossom abundantly in spring & summer, adding loads of joyful colors to #garden or homes.
My Dear friend, let me tell you something that I beautifully thrive in moderate temperature but I am sensitive to extreme heat or cold.
Quite interestingly, I am culturally significant as well and in some regions, I symbolize wealth & good fortune due to my pocketbook appearance and peculiar shape.
