Recently, a long-distance race called “Marabana” was held in Havana, which has an international dimension, but also gathers runners from all over Cuba. Since I'm an outstanding sedentary man, I had never even come close to this kind of events before. But this time was the exception because one of its participants contacted me for a photoshoot during, at the end and after the race. His goal is rather recreational, he doesn't want to win, but he's still looking for a souvenir of this moment and of his visit to Cuba as a traveler, explorer and adventurer. We agreed to meet after the approximate time it would take him to overcome the total distance and there I was waiting for him for a few minutes until I saw him pass in front of me. I quickly took the first shots and went to the finish line to meet him and continue with the session. He asked me about the locations I recommended and unfortunately we were far from my favorite one, Old Havana, but we were close to the Plaza de la Revolución and we walked there, but not before taking advantage of the area around this event. Enjoy!
