Hello my dear friends! So a series of winter holidays has begun. Yesterday we celebrated St. Nicholas Day. In my country, it is also considered the national New Year. I'm not very religious, but I always ask this saint to protect my animals.
We are also getting closer to the Winter Solstice Day. Tomorrow a new Sun will be "born" and gradually a turn towards warmth and light will begin. We have withstood the hardest! We are great!
But we still have the longest and darkest night of the year. It is good to burn candles this night to "support" the Sun. My house is also decorated with traditional plants for this holiday: holly, mistletoe and ivy. I put my candles in candlesticks, which I painted myself: they have runic signs on them (of course, I chose the most positive and life-affirming ones).
The first photo is a collage I created for this day. Below I have posted the original photos so you can see what I used. I've also added some photos from my photo shoot for those of you looking to create your own collage.

very unique painting, my friend
Great pictures, I do not know what is the best, if the theme or the strength in the look and postures of the model, excellent !
Thank you!
Nice to hear such customs for Solstice Days. I think that there is a custom just for March, 21 in my country.
I really like how you put the two pictures together. It gave a really cool feel to it! As for the model, is that you or someone you know? I often wonder where photographers get their models and just assume it's someone they know.
I love Christmas! It has always had a great positive vibe! It looks like your animals have a great, loving owner! 😉
This is a professional model. The photography school, where I studied, organizes interesting photo sessions from time to time. I always try to find an opportunity to photograph there so that I have interesting photos for my collages.
Please check this and tell me what you think about it. Thank You.
Liked. :-)
