Last weekend, I went to Chicago, which has really nice architecture. I saw different buildings; it was fascinating to see those buildings. I could see very much of liveliness there. I was delighted to see the history of how different buildings were raised there. I took this shot when I was on the ferry boat to listen to the history of buildings.
We have the Trump tower in the middle of all the buildings, which is huge attention-grabbing architecture.
The close view of that is
Next to the Trump tower, you see a clock tower (The Wrigley Building), which has unique architecture and seems like some European buildings. I found that infatuating. This clock reminds me of a Spider-men movie, though it is becoming a little blurry to me which movie it was. I think it was the octopus one.
However, while entering Chicago, I could see only one building(Willis Tower), the tallest building in Chicago. You can see this from far away and can have the feeling Chicago is coming.
Since I live in not an urban area in the United States, the humongous and beautiful structures delighted me. As soon as I entered, I took multiple shots of the different architecture.
This is that tower (Willis Tower), which I was seeing from far away. Burj Khalifa is based on the architect of this building; if you look closely, you will realize that.
The next building has onion on the top of it; this is also a great attraction
if you zoom in, you will see that the onion structure
Some more
when my boat was in a different direction, I thought it was only one building
This building was built by an architect fascinated with the Triangle shape architecture.
Finally, it was an amazing experience. These are the ships showing tourists these beautiful structures. It was an amazing experience. I recommend visiting all these places if you ever go to Chicago. Riding boats makes it a unique experience.
I used to work in the wrigley building, this was basically my commute every morning and evening seeing these buildings. Did you take the wendella tour out on the lake? Or the one that goes through the city up to Chinatown?
Interesting that you have worked in those buildings. Though it would become monotonous for sure, I enjoyed this short trip. I took the boat which goes through the city..
Yeah once you're inside the building its just a typical office environment. I also worked a while in the opera house in offices there, it was not as nice and there were even roaches inside lol. Now I'm in one of those shared office places in the financial district where they dole out free snacks and endless beer taps. Not that anyone really uses them because they have to work after all lol.
Yeah, that's true. Omg! Roaches, that's insane. But that is really cool that you have endless beer taps and snacks; where it is? are you still in Chicago?
