My dear son celebrated his 9th birthday on the 15th of February and together with his cousin Yucelys and his aunt Zulay prepared a surprise party for him. For my son he asked us to throw him a party where he would arrive without knowing it and we would say: "SURPRISE" in reality nowadays preparing a party is very expensive and the little that we earn is for the support of our family, made up of two children, dad and mum.
Mi querido hijo cumplió sus 9 años el 15 de febrero y conjuntamente con su prima Yucelys y su tía Zulay le prepararon una fiesta sorpresa. para mi hijo pidió le hiciéramos una fiesta donde el llegara sin saberlo y le dijéramos: "SORPRESA" en realidad hoy en día preparar una fiesta es muy costosa y lo poco que ganamos es para el sustento de nuestra familia, constituida por dos hijos, papá y mamá.

Between her cousin, her aunt, her dad and me (mum) we collaborated to make her dream come true. The letters forming the word happy birthday were borrowed, the ones that are used for sharing or family gatherings. We made her see that we would only make her a small cake, which was not the case.
Entre su prima, su tía su papá y yo (mamá) colaboramos para hacer su sueño realidad. Las letras formando la palabra feliz cumpleaños fueron prestadas, las que se utilizan para el compartir o reuniones de la familia. Le hicimos ver que solo le haríamos una pequeña torta el cual no era así.

Everything was planned, when he arrived my aunt went to pick him up at his grandmother's house and told him that they were going to eat at a shopping centre but first we were going to go to his other grandmother's house, where the surprise was waiting for him. When we arrived at the place his little friend Isaac distracted him and he entered without realising that what awaited him was a big surprise, it was an emotional moment for those of us who were present.
Todo fue planificado, llegado el mi tia fue a buscarlo a casa de su abuela y le dijo que iban a comer a un centro comercial pero primero íbamos a pasar por casa de su otra abuela, allí lo esperaba la sorpresa. Al llegar al sitio su amiguito Isaac lo distrajo y el entro sin darse cuenta que lo que le esperaba era una gran sorpresa, fue un momento emotivo para los que estábamos presente.

Él estaba sorprendido y no salía de su asombro. Yo me sentí tan emocionada y nu pude contener mis lágrimas. Le pudimos hacer una pequeña piñata, fue una reunión donde todos brindaron apoyo, los caramelos fueron donados por un tío, al igual que los pasa palos y la merienda.
He was amazed and couldn't get over his astonishment. I was so excited and couldn't hold back my tears. We were able to make a small piñata for him, it was a gathering where everyone gave their support, the sweets were donated by an uncle, as well as the candy and the snack.

My son was grateful to have received such a nice birthday surprise and to have spent an unforgettable evening with his loved ones and where he received unexpected gifts. His cousin Yucelys who was unable to attend was present via video call at the time of singing the birthday song and I was not present either because of my work.
Mi hijo estaba agradecido de haber recibido tan agradable sorpresa de cumpleaños y de haber pasado una tarde inolvidable junto a sus seres querido y donde recibió regalos inesperados. Su prima Yucelys quien no pudo asistir estuvo presente a través de una vídeo llamada en el momento de cantar el cumpleaño yo tampoco estaba presente por mi trabajo.
