It’s a right decision and I need to confess I used to post on Steemit up until a year ago. I couldn’t make a decision for a long time. Steemit was great strat until changes happened and it was hard for me to leave it, as it was my first platform for blogging. I moved all my steem to hive. I check Steemit from time to time but, don’t do anything. So my account is ‘inactive’, no posting, comments, or wallet activity. I don’t really know how to delete the account to be honest, tried to look in the settings there but didn’t see such an option.

You can't delete an account or activity on either chain. I don't fault or blame anyone that was taking advantage of the fork splitting and for most doubling their assets. So much happens on the chains it can be impossible to know what is going on in areas unrelated to where most users are having their experience.
If a person on Steem didn't know what happened and was still active over there while being here as well, i didn't have a problem with that. But, after all this time and it becoming more of a task to keep bouncing around url's checking everyone over and over it's easier to just remove folks from my curation options.
Anyone active before the hardfork for HIVE has a steemit account. It's the activity there that will determine who stays and goes here. But, i am going to really be generous with theh time period of amnesty and try to directly communicate the change to all those this might impact. Thanks for commenting and you have nothing to worry about. Cheers!
