Good Day, I hope you are doing great?
While I was on my way back from lectures yesterday I saw some statues that caught my attention so I decided to share. I won't be able to share all the statues for now so I am going to divide each of my encounter daily, into parts.
Some things you should know about these statues
- The statues in my school are located at the front of the faculty of fine art.
- They all represent something (So during the cause of this series I would be bringing personal interpretations)
- The statues displayed at the front of the faculty are selected from varieties of statues from students project by lecturers (That means these are the best, and there are many more inside the faculty). So in other words the front of the faculty is just like a museum.
- The statues are projects of students from 300 level to 400 level.
Statues in my school
My School Logo
The first statue below, is a crafted logo of my school. The name of the creator was not imprinted on it.
A man and a woman raising a bird up
What I see here is a man and a woman carrying a bird up, I do understand that there must be a meaning to this art. But I couldn't think of any, if you can understand the sculpture let me know in the comment session.
I also took the picture from from different perceptive.
A Broken Sculpture of a Designed Vase
An Olden Days Izon Woman
A Graduate on top of Money
This sculpture is interesting, I think it means with education you will have money🤣.
Thanks for the votes.
That's all for now.
I'll post the next part tomorrow stay tuned.
