I’ve been trying to get into film and photography and I’m kinda struggling with it but so far I think I’ve made progress. I had to take a few clips with different songs but I chose this one.
The song I’m playing is interdimensional summit by Dimmu Borgir.
When this single came out back in 2018 I was all over it, non stop listening to it and trying so hard to learn every riff and lick that was put into this song. Then I just said screw it and just learned it. It’s probably one of my favorite songs to play because it’s just filled with so much hard work and legitimate love.
Dimmu Borgir is a Norwegian symphonic black metal band that made themselves heard in 1996 or 1997 during the black metal movement in Norway. Despite the conflict between the two bands Mayhem and Burzum, Dimmu Borgir and it’s members decided just to have fun and compose music. So they did just that. I personally love Dimmu Borgir because my dad got me into them when I was eleven or twelve, and I have fell in love with the concept of this musical genre.
Most people don’t Understand that this type of music is just for fun. Death metal, thrash metal, hard metal, black metal and much more are just fun and games. It’s nothing evil or horrible. It may have a dark history from when it was becoming a thing in Norway but others had different views of it, fun and games. I don’t think my life would be complete if I didn’t start listening to metal.
