Hello, my friends, lovers of photography and the process of photographing.
It has been a long time since I had the opportunity to share my photos with you, but today I will fill in this gap in communication a little.
I have a glazed balcony in my apartment and therefore I manage from time to time to photograph various winged guests who find temporary shelter on the glass.
And they can be understood, flight requires a lot of strength and energy from these insects. Or maybe they just bask in the sun this way. They sunbathe on their way to vacation.
Since I have to photograph them most often against the sky, they turn out to be quite contrasting. And I decided to try to take a couple of pictures in monochrome mode, because anyway the color is almost indistinguishable with such a contrast.
The glass allows you to take pictures slowly and completely without fear that insects will notice me and get scared. That's why I turn on the macro mode for photographing.
But there are also disadvantages from such shooting: the glass is not perfectly clean, which introduces an error in the quality of the picture.
Sometimes it happens that flying objects behind glass are also of artificial origin. And fortunately, they don't land on my glass, but fly noisily past. But you can easily confuse them with quiet insects in such photos.
