Apparently this hour can be called golden, but it quickly turned into blue. You can say that I was lucky. We started our walk in the afternoon and walked until nightfall. It was still possible to admire the layout of bridges on the Neva, but then we would have to get home by detours. If the bridge is divorced and your car can't swim... well, you know.
However, we had enough beauty and so. After a month in the forest, in contrast with nature, the city is perceived much more sharply.
So, we will wander along Nevsky Prospekt towards the Neva and look around.
Some streets and courtyards have already sunk into deep shadow (of course, most of them), but if you look up, you can still see the amazingly soft light of the setting sun.
In the company of my lenses was Mr. Helios, to whom I kindly turned the front window upside down. I think he was overjoyed and let out light bubbles from happiness.
Finally we got out to the Neva River in the area of the Palace Bridge. He was the one who got into the photo.
In addition to Mr. Helios, there was Mr. Monocle in our company. He also showed his best side. But that's another story.
