That day, the afternoon was quite hot, but I still walked through the fields, hoping to find something interesting to photograph. As I approached a small river at the edge of the field, my eyes were immediately drawn to the beautiful metallic shine. On a rock on the edge of the river, a dragonfly of the Neurobasis species was perched majestically.
Its shiny body color is like metal, reflecting sunlight perfectly. I was immediately blown away! Without hesitation, I immediately took the camera and started shooting. I wanted to capture this beauty to the fullest. With the position facing forward, I tried various angles so that the luxurious details of her body could really be seen. The occasional wind was quite a challenge, but I remained focused and patient.
After being satisfied with photographing Neurobasis, my attention was drawn to another dragonfly which was no less interesting. This time, I found two dragonflies of the Rhinocypha type with different colors. The first has an elegant bluish black combination,
while the second is yellowish black which contrasts with the surrounding environment.
Because their movements are quite agile, I have to be more careful so that the results remain sharp and detailed. I tried to approach slowly, making sure they didn't fly away before I got the best photo. With natural lighting from sunlight entering through gaps in the leaves, their body color becomes more striking.
Moments like this are the reason why I enjoy the world of macro photography so much. Discovering and capturing the little beauty hidden in nature is an always satisfying experience.
