"Village Landscape: A Combination of Nature and Life"

Today, I spent time exploring the beauty of my village, especially the newly planted rice fields. This journey starts from the water reservoir at the fish seed center. From up there, the view is very pleasing to the eye. The rice fields that are still submerged in water look like large mirrors that reflect the clouds in the sky.

and this is a portrait of a warehouse where the fish seed center is located.

After I was satisfied taking photos from that point, I continued my journey up the hill to the residents' gardens. From this height, the panorama of the village becomes wider. Lined coconut trees, stretching rice fields, and the sky starting to change color towards dusk create a very calm atmosphere.

However, there was one location that took me back in time—a field that was used for military training for the Free Aceh Movement during the 2001 conflict. Now, the field is abandoned, covered in weeds, and almost unrecognizable. I stopped for a moment, imagining how this place used to be full of activity and stories.

From there, I went down to the newly planted rice fields. The view of green rice fields with still stagnant water provides a certain calm. In the middle of the rice fields, a resident was seen spreading fertilizer for his rice plants. The concrete road that cuts through the rice fields adds a special attraction—a modern view that blends with nature.

In closing, I immortalized myself in the rear view mirror of my motorbike, with the vast rice fields in the background. A small reflection of today's trip, which is not just about natural beauty, but also about the memories and changes that have occurred in my village.

NOTE: I first wrote the article above in Indonesian, which is my own language, then I translated it using English with the help of Goggle.
