This would probably be the last part of my travels with my boyfriend and the last day of his stay here in the Philippines. Although most of our time together were spent outside, this mall really made an impact on the both of us XD
I have been to Greenhills a few times now. Mostly before pandemic so I actually remember it a little differently now. They have definitely expanded and I can see that in how many connecting mall it has now XD It definitely wasn't that much of a maze on my last visit, but damn.
I remember always coming back there to check on gadgets and also to check on anime figures. I used to be such a fan of building gunpla, you know and I wanted to create and customize a little beargguy army.
I was pretty sad to see that the amount of Gundam figures they sold have greatly reduced and they don't even have that many things anymore. So I guess even they can feel how bad the economy is sinking.
Some of the customized diorama shops I remembered don't allow picture and video taking anymore and that makes sense because it is their livelihood being affected. Also, I noticed that they don't stay on one floor now. The collectibles and figures shops have spread across all the 3 malls there and just finding what you need could take an entire day. That's what happened with us XD because we were looking for good Pokémon cards then we were comparing them to prices in the local toy stores.
Of course, we had to have a coffee stop and I really liked that the coffee shop we went had different set of beans to appreciate. Of course I went with a lighter roast and he went with the dark roast XD
After that, we continued our Pokémon hunt and it was such a shame we were going on schedule, else we probably would have stayed the whole afternoon being silly little kids.
These were the other anime specific displays I loved. I would have taken more photos but we were in a hurry to find specific things so we just kept jumping from shop to shop. Not to mention, there wasn't as many collectible shops there as there was before so that made me really sad.
So all in all, I think we only spent some 3 hours looking around. The highlight of this trip though, was the Lego shop!

But the best part was the Lego passport we both got!
And I did ask for permission... if I could take his surname in mine, even if it's just on a silly little play document ^^ I just wanted to see how it feels like to have his name attached to mine. Count this as one of the many silly wishes I never thought I would ever have.
Buutttt that's enough for today! I feel like you guys have already gotten over-saturated and sick of how silly-in-love I am with this man XD I will eventually go back to my usual art contents and I will be hoping and praying that I can draw well again because I had another artist block along the way so I haven't tried drawing again in some 3 weeks now.
I will see you guys again tomorrow, okay?
