A Return To Cadwell

Into the curve #1

Those people that read my Hive posts regularly will know how much I love visiting Cadwell. It's my happy place. If I need to relax and forget about things for a while, Cadwell is the place for me. Oddly enough, its not all about the photography anymore when I go, although I do enjoy that, but its the noise, the smell, the excitement.

The new "Mountain Pavilion"

The building with the red cladding in the picture above is the cafe, they do some great meals. And the building on the left is the new Mountain Pavilion which is a newly built hospitality facility. One day it would be nice to have some friends go and take advantage of the amenities. But I would need a lottery win for that to happen.

A bit of panning

I got my steps in today in the short while I was there trying to find different points to view and take photos from. Unfortunately real life got in the way and I had to make tracks after a couple of hours.

Into the curve #2

So home I went, leaving the few racers to their speed rush, and to those prepping for the big weekend with the British Super Bike championship this weekend. It's always a big event, not too good for photographers as there are so many people there its hard to move amongst the crowds and get a decent place from which to take a shot. But a thrilling experience for spectators.

About me:

I can mostly be found shooting models, aviation, motorsports and, when I can, wildlife. But I enjoy most aspects of photography. You can find more of my work on the links below.
