Hawker Hunter
Wickenby Aerodrome hold an occasional Vintage and classic "fly in" day. This is where any aircraft built pre 1960 can fly in for free and display. It's the first time I've been, but it was an enjoyable few hours. Not only is there vintage aircraft on display but other vintage and classic vehicles.
Prop blur
I think I was late arriving as many of the aircraft were already on the ground and displaying (some were so old I wasn't actually sure if they had flown in (more of those on another post). I'm not sure what this plane is, I was just happy to get a good "prop blur" on this image.
Jeeps
There were a number of classic cars on show plus this bunch of army jeeps. All driven by re-enactors, dressed as US servicemen. There was also an old "Indian" motorcycle in stunning condition for its age.
*De Havilland Tiger Moth *
Finally (on this post) we have this gorgeous old bird. Not the oldest on display but a noted aircraft in its time.
