Our life can be defined in many ways, as many as there are many people, each with their own version.
A definition that I think most people would agree with would be this:
Our lives are made up of a long series of unfulfilled desires.
That sentence seems too good to be the emanation of my brain, I swear I didn't copy it from someone else, but I don't exclude the possibility that I read it somewhere, sometime long ago, so long ago that I am now convinced that it is mine.
It's difficult to categorize which desire was the greatest, so I will use the term "among the strongest desires".
Among my strongest desires was to live by the sea. This desire was not born with me, it came after I passed my teenage years and discovered the sea. Unfortunately, all my attempts to live somewhere by the sea were unsuccessful.
This has resulted in a great nostalgia for the sea that can only be quenched with more frequent trips to places with a sea.
When I can't travel I have a smaller extinguisher of nostalgia, the photos taken on countless past trips.
I now have a deep longing for the sea, and since I have no other option, I will search through my photos...
Evening descent over the small bay of Balchik
Evening walk
Balchik is not only a Black Sea resort that began attracting visitors a hundred years ago when Queen Elena of Romania chose the place for her summer residence.
It is also a small port for grain exports.
This is also where fishermen live and work because there is no sea without fishermen, is there?
The above are professional fishermen, they don't show in the picture, because some are at sea and others are at the pub.
The other fishermen, the amateurs, can be seen on piers. They say they fish for pleasure.
Here is a place to relax and rest before the evening meal. Some are waiting to eat and others are for someone to give them some of their food, or something they fished.
Some, including myself, have come here to see the sea. It's true that I don't stare at the sea all day long, there are many temptations in a seaside resort, but at least in the evening I pay the most attention to it.
Especially as it's fast approaching, but disappears just as quickly and you risk missing it if you're not careful, the golden hour.
I don't know why they call it the golden hour, when, in fact, it lasts only a few dozen minutes ( not sixty, haha!)
I don't know why they call it hour but I know why they call it gold.
Because it's pure, intangible gold!
I rely mostly on photos in all my blogs. Words don't help me as much as photos. A wise saying goes that a photograph is worth a thousand words.
I don't think so. It depends on the viewer.
Thanks!
Thus, I will try to fillful as many desires as possible throughout my life.
The best choice!
I had the same desire as you... when I migrated to Spain, as I had neither family nor friends here I chose the place now I live 40 minutes walking... now my dream is a house in front of the sea... to wake up and listen to its waves... to see its colours and the immensity... I know what it feels like!
This view is perfect.
I had the same desire. You are closer and I wish it to be fulfilled as soon as possible!
So be it!
